Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 construction pipeline is generating earthmoving demand at a scale most equipment fleets struggle to keep pace with. NEOM, the Red Sea Project, Diriyah Gate, and hundreds of infrastructure contracts across the Kingdom are all moving earth — and they all need reliable bulldozers on short notice.
Makcon (Mithaq Services General Contracting) maintains a ready fleet of bulldozers available for daily, monthly, and project-duration rental across Saudi Arabia. Based in Al Khobar, Eastern Province, we deploy equipment to Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Jubail, Ras Al Khair, and all major industrial corridors in the Kingdom. Every unit is inspection-certified before mobilisation, and wet hire with a qualified operator is available on all models.

Our rental fleet covers the full size range used in Saudi construction and infrastructure projects. Whether the job is finish grading on a residential plot or mass excavation on an industrial site, we match the machine to the requirement.
Small bulldozer rental in Saudi Arabia is the most requested category for road shoulder grading, utility trench backfilling, site preparation on tight plots, and sub-base levelling for paving contracts. Models in this class — typically Caterpillar D3 and D4 equivalents — operate at 60–110 hp and are manoeuvrable enough for confined sites where larger machines cannot turn effectively.
Medium bulldozers — the D5 and D6 class range — are the workhorse category for mid-scale earthmoving. Road construction sub-grades, agricultural land levelling, and commercial site development all fall within the efficient operating range of this class. They balance pushing power with lower fuel consumption than heavy-duty models, making them cost-effective for projects that don't require maximum horsepower.
Heavy-duty bulldozers at the D6, D8, and D9 grade are the machines that move mountains — or at least the quantities of material that major Saudi infrastructure projects require. Caterpillar D9 units deliver 410 hp and blade capacities exceeding 12 m³, making them the standard choice for large-scale land clearing, quarry operations, push loading, and dam embankment work. Available from Makcon on project-term contracts with full operator and maintenance packages.
Compact and mini bulldozers fill the gap between skid steers and full-size machines. In Saudi Arabia, they are widely used in villa landscaping, golf course contouring, sports field construction, and any application where access is restricted and a light footprint is essential. These units — typically under 60 hp — can be transported on standard flatbeds without specialist low-loaders, reducing mobilisation cost for short-duration jobs.
Rental rates vary based on machine class, hire type (wet or dry), contract duration, site location, and any attachment requirements. The table below gives indicative daily and monthly ranges to help with budget planning — contact Makcon for a project-specific written quotation.
| Bulldozer Class | Typical HP Range | Daily Rate (SAR, est.) | Monthly Rate (SAR, est.) | Hire Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Compact / Mini | < 60 hp | 600 – 900 | 14,000 – 20,000 | Dry or Wet |
| Small (D3–D4) | 60–110 hp | 900 – 1,400 | 20,000 – 32,000 | Dry or Wet |
| Medium (D5–D6) | 115–215 hp | 1,400 – 2,200 | 32,000 – 52,000 | Dry or Wet |
| Heavy D8 | 310–335 hp | 2,200 – 3,500 | 50,000 – 80,000 | Dry or Wet |
| Heavy D9 | ~410 hp | 3,500 – 5,000+ | 80,000 – 120,000+ | Project Term |

Makcon deploys bulldozers throughout the Kingdom from its base in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. We serve every major construction region in Saudi Arabia.
For projects in remote or hard-to-reach areas, Makcon coordinates low-loader transport and site access logistics. Advance booking is recommended for locations outside the Eastern Province to ensure timely delivery.
Makcon's rental process is designed to minimise paperwork and get equipment on site quickly. For standard contracts, a unit can be confirmed and dispatched within 24–48 hours of agreement.
Contact Makcon by phone (+966 56 849 1941) or email (sales@mak-con.com). Share your project location, the machine class required, rental duration, and whether you need wet hire or dry hire. The more detail you provide upfront, the faster we can confirm availability and price.
We prepare a written quotation covering the machine rate, any operator fee, transport to site, and applicable terms. Quotations are typically returned within 2–4 hours for standard requests. Complex multi-machine or project-term requirements may take one working day.
On acceptance, we issue a rental agreement. Saudi-registered companies may require a copy of your CR, Iqama, and project details for compliance documentation. Individual contractors should have their site details ready at this stage.
We arrange low-loader or flatbed transport (depending on machine size) to your project site. A pre-delivery inspection report is issued before dispatch. For wet hire, the operator is briefed on site safety requirements before commencing work.
Throughout the rental period, Makcon provides a point of contact for any technical queries, maintenance issues, or contract extension requests. Scheduled maintenance for longer contracts is handled by Makcon — you do not need to manage servicing for wet hire agreements.
The capital cost of a Caterpillar D9 in Saudi Arabia exceeds SAR 1.5 million. Even a small bulldozer runs SAR 300,000–500,000 new. For most construction companies and project developers, the numbers strongly favour rental — especially in Saudi Arabia's current project-driven market.
| Factor | Buying | Renting from Makcon |
|---|---|---|
| Upfront capital | SAR 300K–1.5M+ per unit | Zero capital expenditure |
| Maintenance cost | Full cost to owner | Included in wet hire contracts |
| Depreciation | 15–20% per year on owned assets | Not applicable — asset stays with Makcon |
| Equipment matching | Fixed to the model you own | Match the right machine to each job |
| Idle periods | Fixed cost continues between jobs | Pay only when the machine is working |
| Mobilisation | Owner arranges and pays | Makcon handles transport logistics |
| Regulatory compliance | Owner's responsibility | Makcon supplies certified, compliant units |
| Scaling for large projects | Multiple purchases required | Add machines as project scope grows |
For Saudi contractors bidding on multiple simultaneous projects, rental also provides the flexibility to right-size the fleet to actual work on hand — eliminating the carrying cost of machines sitting idle between contract awards.
Makcon's fleet covers compact mini-bulldozers (under 60 hp), small bulldozers (D3–D4 class, 60–110 hp), medium bulldozers (D5–D6 class, 115–215 hp), and heavy-duty bulldozers including D6, D8, and D9 models up to 410 hp. Ripper attachments are available on D8 and D9 units. All models are available for dry hire (machine only) or wet hire (machine plus certified operator).
For sites in the Eastern Province (Al Khobar, Dammam, Jubail), deployment is typically possible within 24 hours of contract confirmation. For Riyadh and Jeddah, allow 24–48 hours. Remote or northern sites require advance booking — contact us with your timeline and we will confirm availability and logistics.
Fuel is not included in the base rental rate and is the responsibility of the hirer, whether on dry or wet hire contracts. For wet hire agreements, the operator manages fuelling logistics, but the cost is passed through to the client. This is standard practice for heavy equipment rental in Saudi Arabia.
Yes. Makcon offers daily rental contracts on all bulldozer classes. Daily rental is available subject to fleet availability — advance booking of at least 24 hours is recommended. Note that minimum charges and transport fees apply on short-duration contracts, which the written quotation will specify.
Wet hire — machine plus a qualified, licensed bulldozer operator — is available on all models in Makcon's fleet. Operators hold valid Saudi licences and are experienced on the specific model provided. For clients who supply their own operators, dry hire contracts are available with a maintenance SLA covering scheduled servicing.
Makcon deploys equipment across all regions of the Kingdom — Eastern Province (Al Khobar, Dammam, Jubail, Ras Al Khair), Riyadh, Jeddah, Makkah, Madinah, Tabuk, NEOM corridor, Abha, Jizan, Qassim, and beyond. Multi-site contracts across regions can be handled under a single vendor agreement.
